If you can possibly get there, please go! This is important, and could be the beginning of a truly independent movement of America's working people.

We also need to show the politicians we understand whether Bush or Kerry wins, we still need to organize ourselves and fight for Real Democracy where we the people, not the corporations, make the decisions that affect our lives!

Over 1,000 soldiers dead and counting along with tens of thousands of Iraqi dead and many more wounded.

On Oct 17 in Washington, D.C. you will have a historic opportunity to unite the anti war movement with the vitality of working people speaking for themselves.

This call to action was initiated by the International Longshore & Warehouse local 10. Unions along with Anti War groups have responded to the call knowing that this is a crucial moment for the labor movement and the progressive community.

We know that regardless of the outcome of the elections, the war machine, and the corporations that support them will seek to impose their plans for death and devastation. Advances in trade unionism, peace and justice, and civil rights have only come through mass mobilization. We cannot and must not rely on elections in November to stop the war. We must raise our voices loud, not after the elections, but right now.

For those of you who will be participating in the Million Worker March in LA, Nader/Camejo supporters will be meeting at the Corner of Cesar Chavez & Lorena in Boyle Heights, at 9 a.m. on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16.
