Next issue out first of year.
We also have a beautiful new introductory brochure on the website
http://www.greenparty.org/GreenPartyUSABrochure.pdf which you can download -
or ask us to send you a copy which you can then print up and distribute.
Another new brochure, a really good one on the Boycott Coca Cola!
campaign, isn't online yet, but we'll send you a copy if you'd like.
Now a word from Don Fitz, editor of that peerless Green magazine,
Synthesis/Regeneration, calling for submissions, deadline soon!.
Hope you're well, and please don't forget to VOTE!
- Nancy Oden, ed.
Dear Green activist,
The November 2, 2004 elections will have a profound impact on the US
political landscape for decades to come. Synthesis/Regeneration is published
for Green
movement and electoral activists. We hope that the Winter 2005 issue (which
will go to press in late November 2004) can look at the importance of Green
Party participation in the 2004 elections in national, state and local
races. We
invite submissions, in the immediate aftermath of the elections, especially
addressing the following themes:
- Green strategy and how the '04 results affect it;
- the process of selecting Green Party presidential candidates and the effect of not running a high-profile candidate;
- the influence of election laws on minor party and independent candidates;
- what some Greens' support for Kerry has done to the Party.
In order to be included in the Winter 2005 issue, we will need to RECEIVE
submissions by November 10, 2004. Articles should be 500 to 2000 words.
Please send submissions to: RationalParanoia@sbcglobal.net (Nathan Perz)
